This rare bottling is hand-selected by my friend, Master Distiller Eddie Russell and is the result of a rigorous process to determined the barrels worthy of the name. Master’s Keep is the longest-aged whiskey released by Wild Turkey in the US. It’s aged in both brick and wood rickhouses at 86.8 proof and starts out silky smooth and inviting with savory notes of caramel and vanilla before finishing with a spicy, savory component.
I received 9 bottles of this rare treat (the most I have ever gotten) from our friends in Kentucky. I decided to keep two for the restaurant and offer the rest exclusively to the best buyers within our Bourbon Buyers Club. The prices for this thing online are all over the place, but most people who actually have the goods and aren’t just fishing, have it for a price well over $100 more per bottle than what these can be had for today. True Whiskey Enthusiasts are going to go nuts.

Rich and creamy notes of toasted oak, vanilla, caramel, and fresh baked Bundt cake immediately flood the sense’s as soon as you pop this one open. Bottled at 100-Proof, you get a little bit of heat on the front palate followed by rich oak, leather and freshly baked bread. As it starts to open, you get some sweeter, creamy vanilla notes that cream in as well as campfire s’mores and a dash of pepper. The finish is long, and a bit spicy which leaves a memorable aftertaste and leaves you wanting more.
The third release of three batches from Booker’s Bourbon 2023 Collection is Booker’s Batch 2023-03 ‘Might Fine Batch.’ These mini-releases have become extremely popular, and for good reason. “The vanilla and brown sugar sweet notes come through very well from the white oak barrels this bourbon aged in for over seven years. The taste is great and full bodied; when I added a splash of water, it opened up some great flavors, with a finish that gives a lovely “Kentucky Hug. My Dad would say that this is a Mighty Fine batch of Booker’s.” -Fred Noe
Drawn from the heart of Tuscany, in Villa di Rèmole, the Sangiovese-dominant wine is an homage to the subregion from which it is drawn. It’s a super juicy, fruity wine that also has some floral and spicier notes that come in to play at the end. It’s an incredibly balanced and elegant wine for the price, a wine that screams for good food, anything from soft cheese to cured meats to pasta or pizza.
This is an extraordinary chance to lock into two of the best vintages of Jordan Cabernet ever made. This is one of California’s iconic producers of Cabernet, and both the 2009 and 2010 vintages were like a dream come true for superstar winemaker Rob Davis. Most of these bottles are long gone, but luckily I manage to snag enough to offer up a 2009, 2010 side-by-side Library vertical. These will fly out the door!
