In the sun-drenched mid-80s, three passionate siblings – Alessio, Francesca, and Santi – sparked a revolution, guided by their visionary father, Diego. They weren’t just making wine; they were unlocking the secrets of Sicily’s wild, diverse soils, a thrilling experiment marrying ancient terroirs with global grape varieties.

Fast forward, and Planeta is a constellation of six breathtaking estates, each a distinct chapter in Sicily’s winemaking story. From the ancestral Ulmo estate, whispering tales of centuries past, to the volcanic fury of Etna’s Sciara Nuova, and the coastal breezes of Capo Milazzo’s La Baronia, they’ve painted a vibrant map of Sicilian wine. And at the heart of it all, La Segreta, named for the hidden woods of Ulmo, a wine as versatile and inviting as a Sicilian sunset, ready to grace any table, any occasion.
