This young wine comes up quickly with strawberry fruit, ripe and dotted with white pepper. There are hints of parsley, and impressive midpalate concentration. With all of Ken Wright’s wines, which are released quite young, the odds strongly favor additional development and improved complexity with another few years of bottle age.
Luckily for us, the twenty cases that were earmarked for a blue-chip NYC restaurant have become available (I wonder why). Their loss is your gain.
