The 2021 Sexton Vineyard Chardonnay from Giant Steps is special – as evident by the massive scores this racked up from the Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate and Australia’s most respected critic, James Halliday. It’s a sophisticated, elegant and multi-layered Chard with excellent lift and saltiness that compliment a rich lemon meringue core and nice minerality on the finish. I don’t think there’s a single American Chardonnay in this price point that could possibly compare.
