Faust Four Pack 2019 (3 Napa Cab, 1 Pact)

Winery Four-Pack Release Price: $330
 32% OFF!

What a few months it’s been for Hunneus Wines. First, a few weeks back we offered Leviathan. Then, we had a rare allocation of Quintessa. Both at exceptional prices. But those offers pale in comparison to today’s final act, a two-for-one offer of “Baby Quintessa”, from project Faust, priced to be scooped up by the case.

The winemaking team at Faust is ridiculous. Similar to the team at Quintessa (Michel Rolland/Andy Erickson) minus Rebekah Wineburg but with Charles Thomas (Opus One) and David Jelinek (Copain/Prisoner/Groth). The vineyard source out of this world – a little slice of heaven on the foothills of Atlas Peak in Coombsville. The wine is aged and bottled at Quintessa’s state-of-the-art winemaking facility.

Both have all the vineyard pedigree and winemaking prowess of Quintessa. They receive the big scores (Faust- 95pts, The Pact 96pts) and all the press of their big name brother, but at prices that Napa almost never sees anymore for wines of this caliber. And the best part, I’m able to offer these at the best prices anywhere – for as long as they last.

Original price was: $330.00.Current price is: $225.00.

96 Points, James Suckling (The Pact)
Redcurrants and blackcurrants with some violets and crushed earth. Full-bodied with round, creamy tannins. Fine, velvety tannins that are open and grounded. Firm and tight finish. Drinkable now, but better in 2024.

95 Points, James Suckling (Napa Valley Cab)
Blackberry, blackcurrant, graphite and tar aromas. Crushed stone, too. Full-bodied, yet firm, fresh and bright with a creamy, crunchy finish. One of the best values in Napa appellation designated reds. Drink or hold

To keep in the spirit of giving, I am once again offering up a four pack that is priced like a misprint.  Two exceptional Faust Cabs from the illustrious 2019 vintage, for an absurd price that can’t be matched anywhere. Three bottles of the 95-pt 2019 Faust Napa Valley Cabernet and one bottle of the flagship 96-pointer, ‘The Pact’ Napa Valley 2019. From 2/3 of the winemaking team at Quintessa, using the same vineyard sources and the same state-of-the-art wine production facility. The last of the four offers in this series is definitely the sweetest.  $330 is the retail price for the 4-pack. But for a short while (until sell out), 32% OFF that or just $225. If you’re after a Napa Valley Cab bargain, four super highly rated bottles at this price is just silly.
