Pale pink. Enticing multilayered aromas and flavors of raspberry, almond paste, violet, rose and minerals. Very precise, with an almost piercing quality and lively clarity to its Nebbiolo fruit profile. Finishes long and bright. A knockout sparkling Rosé.

Named ‘Oeil de Perdrix’ (eye of the partridge), Joe grows a special vineyard of Pinot Noir especially for this pink wine, similar to how many of the Roses in Burgundy are made. It’s a 100% Rose of Pinot that Joe lightly whole-cluster presses and then ages in a combination of French Oak and stainless steel. That’s what makes this baby absolutely soar, both in the aromatics and on the palate with red berries, nectarine, and tropical fruits and a cherry/citrus mix. It’s a delight to drink.
This one is so fruit friendly and inviting and also the perfect treat for some Italian food or fresh fish. It leads with beautiful notes of stone fruit, lemon, lime, and some acacia flowers. It’s delicate, but still full on the mouth, with good structure, freshness, and intensity.
If you’re new to Sancerre Rose, then you’re in luck– this is easily one of the best ones made. Domonique Roger’s Sancerre Rose has everything you want: it’s bone dry with fleshy stone fruits flavors, mandarin orange and a hint of zest. The fruit is so pure and clean and there’s so much going on. This is a serious wine and arguably the very best pink wine that anyone makes. Do not miss it.

If you’ve never heard of Bisci, let’s start here. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate called Giuseppe Bisci’s Verdicchio “one of the finest I’ve ever tasted,” and noted that “Verdicchio is one of the joys of Italian oenology that rarely gets the respect it deserves, and few producers do it better than Bisci.” A staple at $85/bottle for both French Laundry and Eleven Madison Park. “Verdicchio is one of the joys of Italian oenology that rarely gets the respect it deserves, and few producers do it better than Bisci.” – The Wine Advocate
