The newly released Crochet Sancerre Rosé is drawn from the high elevations of Janine and Teddy Crochet’s Pinot Noir vines in the village of Bué. The conditions are perfect for delicious Sancerre Rosé.
Salmon-pink in color to the brim. The nose is pretty, featuring aromas of roses and cherry fruits. Slightly more acid, this year the wine as always has terrific fruit, juicy citrus and berries which lead to a racy, high-toned finish that screams for a pairing with some good food.

The Bernard Reverdy Sancerre Rose 2022 is gorgeous. A beautiful pale pink to the brim, this baby is fresh and super aromatic with a complex nose of citrus, wild strawberries and white flowers. With air, higher tones emerge, with a great mingling of ripe fruit, and stony minerality. Medium-bodied, fresh and focused on the palate, with concise limestone-drive acidity, this is an elegant, lively, and energetic Sancerre Rose that mirrors the warm vintage but also the old vines rooting deep in stony soils. There’s a consistency to Pierre Sparr wines that consumers just know they can count on throughout the entire portfolio. The wines deliver aromatics, elegance, clean fruit and are packed with vibrancy. They also happen to be extremely food-friendly, especially in the past few vintages where yields were down but quality rose to an all-time high. This is a bone-dry beauty with layers of citrus fruits, framed by wet stone and mineral character that adds dimension.
This one comes from very old vines in eight different lieux-dits, with the largest portion coming from Le Fourneau. Harvest is all by hand, and this wine sees 18 months in barrels with only 10% new oak. Clement (rightfully) believes that keeping the oak primarily neutral here brings out the most authentic and intense expression of his Pinot Noirs. Take a sip or two of this and you will know exactly what I mean.
