Domaine Long Depaquit Chablis 2025

Domaine Long-Depaquit is Albert Bichot’s crown jewel in Chablis and Albert Bichot, as you may know, is one of Burgundy’s most celebrated and historic houses. What makes this wine so exceptional at this price is simple: this is 100% estate-grown from 40-year-old vines rooted in classic Kimmeridgian limestone soils. We’re talking about ancient chalky, clay-limestone that gives great Chablis its signature flinty minerality. Not cheap bulk juice assembled from all over. The difference is palpable.

The secret sauce is that they’re taking estate fruit from one of Chablis’ most important historic properties spanning 34 separate plots across gentle slopes, and vinifying them all independently to maximize aromatic complexity before final blending. Also, everything is certified organic farming with super strict yeild management. This is some serious winemaking.

Original price was: $36.00.Current price is: $33.00.

Now in their sixth generation, Albert Bichot continues to upgrade their unprecedented holdings in the region. They’re one of the few to have properties that span all five key Burgundian regions (Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, and Mâconnais), allowing them to source from the region’s finest terroirs. Everything they do now is sustainable and completely organic, and the wines have never been better.
