Peabody, the Australian billionaire drove around the former (the country’s top viticulturist) all over New Zealand before they finally found the perfect combination of soil and climate in the eastern shadow of the mountains on North Island, just outside of Martinborough. 

With cool temperatures, ideal rainfall and a perfectly uneventful harvest in 2018, Steve Smith carved out a World Class Pinot Noir beauty that absolutely represents some of the best Pinot Noir coming out of New Zealand and the Southern Hemisphere. You’re going to love it. Beautiful fresh and crunchy red fruits mixed with liquorice, some earth and a silky finish. This is one of those Pinots that make you say wow.
