The final and fourth batch of 2022 is named in honor of Booker Noe’s dad, the original Frederick Booker Noe, better known as “Pinkie”. Pinkie was a bit fan of Bourbon but was actually the vice president of a local bank instead of joining the family business.
This one was released just before Christmas – but is only finally making its way to the great state of New Jersey now. I have enjoyed each of these batches profusely, but finally got a decent amount to offer up to the Bourbon Buyers Club.
These are collector’s items, re-sell items, or just great bottles of small batch Booker to savor slowly.
AGE: 6 year, 10 months, 10 days
PROOF: 122.4
Tasting Notes: Booker’s “Pinkie’s Batch” has a golden amber color and a balanced aroma of brown spice and vanilla notes. It has the rich vanilla taste Booker’s is often known for, with a lingering well-rounded finish.

This is definitely one of the most unique private barrels of bourbon you’re gonna find anywhere and it comes from our friends at in Kirby at Wyoming Whiskey. It’s been two years since we’ve had this baby! They make their own whiskey in-house instead of getting it shipped to them and finishing it. In doing so, they use winter wheat to churn out a medium length whiskey with notes of honey, burnt sugar, cinnamon and caramel on the finish. It’s sensational – but I only have 120 bottles from this barrel to offer up.

“Rich layers of spiced fruit aromas reveal themselves in waves; cinnamon baked plums, caramelized apple tart, and floral undertones. Concentrated flavors of mixed baking spices, peach skin, fresh tobacco, and brown sugar are luscious and ever evolving through the suede texture. A pleasure to sip.”
Our third single barrel of Whistle Pig and the first time we have our hands on their 6-year PiggyBack bottling. This one leads with a nose of freshly baked pumpernickel bread, butterscotch and toffee. On the palate, I get a lot of citrus & peach with a touch of lavender & black cherry. The finish here is strong & long with spicy dried fruits and caramel notes that linger. This one was distilled in house in Vermont, and as anyone can tell you with the farm releases, they always deliver the best of punches. This one comes in at 109.8 Proof.
This is my third private barrel of Bourbon that I sourced from Bulleit and my first since 2022. Believe you me, they give you a ton (and I mean a ton) of samples to go through to make up for lost time. The winning combo is something people are going to love. Allow me to introduce you to Barrel #5-B3-82. It’s smooth and layered, with a full creamy mouthfeel and manages to sneak in at 104 Proof. On the nose, I get fresh cut oak, vanilla and brown butter. On the palate, freshly baked banana bread, burnt orange and graham cracker.
