Chicken Cheesesteak Recipe

It was like an episode of Chopped, no plan, 20 minutes to the school bus arrives and all I wanted was to still be in bed. I had raw chicken cutlets, hoagie rolls and American Cheese. Wham! 7 minutes and 30 seconds later the kids got chicken cheesesteaks. Now it seems like twice a week the kids are waking me up and challenging me to a cook-off.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients

• 3 oz finely chopped raw chicken breast (be careful if you are still sleepy)
• 3 slices American cheese
• 1 sub roll
• 1 Tbsp Water
• 1 Tsp Olive oil
• S & P to taste

Directions

• Saute Chicken in olive oil in a nonstick pan, Season as cooking
• Just before the chicken is completely cooked add water & cover with cheese.
  (The steam will melt the cheese)
• Scoop into sub roll & wrap in aluminum foil.
